Students may repeat up to 20 units (changes to 16 units effective summer 2009) for grade forgiveness in courses that a grade of D+, D, D-, F or WU was received.

Any course is eligible for grade forgiveness one time only. 

Each quarter, advisors are encouraged to proactively contact and advise students who have received a failing grade in any course.
