CURRICULUM CYCLE FOR 2009-11 CATALOG

To Pilot Continuous Course Review Process


Fall, 2007

Departments review their curricula and propose changes as needed.
For GE courses, please refer to the Instructions for Proposing a GE Course.


Winter, 2008

College curriculum committees and deans review curriculum proposals (check with your dean's office for specific due date).


April 7, 2008

Proposals due to the Academic Programs Office (Admin. 315) for review by the staff. Please submit 2 complete hard copy sets with signatures. Copies for Academic Senate Curriculum Committee review will be requested at the start of Fall quarter 2008 (see Fall, 2008, below for details).

GE course proposals are due to the GE Office. See Instructions for Proposing a GE Course.

 

Fall, 2008

Proposals due to the Academic Senate Curriculum Committee for review. Please submit 12 copies of the following to the Academic Senate Office: Your cover memo, table of contents, New Course Proposals, curriculum displays, any proposals for new degrees, minors, concentrations or specializations, and response memos/emails from other departments (i.e., all pages except for any course modification forms, the (editorial) course descriptions, and department text).

Proposals reviewed by Academic Senate Curriculum Committee.

 

Winter-
   Spring 2009

Preparation of catalog, schedule of classes, degree audit.

 

Summer 2009 Catalog becomes effective.
