- USCP Spreadsheet for Spring Quarter 2016 (PDF)
- Currently, there is no monitoring of USCP course enrollments/demand vs. supply.
- Where do students take the USCP courses?
91% of students in spring quarter 2016 took USCP in GE classes.
9% of students in spring quarter 2016 took USCP in non-GE classes. - How many students have taken more than one USCP class?
Comparison of Current USCP Criteria and Diversity Learning Objectives
- Comparison of Key Differences, and Key Similarities (PDF)
- There are similarities in the language - they are not that far apart.
- Should the name "diversity" be added to the USCP name?
- The goal is to have one set of learning outcomes and criteria.
- The criteria should be used to evaluate course proposals.
- In the criteria, we should add "The course addresses the DLOs."
- The learning objectives should be used for the students.
Comments on Possible Changes to Align the DLOs and USCP
- DLO 3: Should we address critical thinking as stated in USCP bullet 3?
- DLO 3 - Consider perspectives of diverse groups when making decisions
- USCP 3 - Critical thinking skills used by students to approach these contemporary social issues in a sensitive, responsible manner; examine their own attitudes; and consider the diverse perspectives of others
- Can we add to DLO 3: Examine their own attitudes.
- Should we bring back some of the language used in USCP 4?
